Shown above is a compact machine that receives tiles from a conveyor, and counts and stacks them in required batches ready for packaging. It can easily be modified to deal with other labour-intensive, repetitive tasks.

Other recent machines include those for canning , salt packing , wire ring manufacturing, cake mix depositors, pastry cutters and many others.
